Targeted Studies

Our targeted studies are focused on issues identified by our stakeholders and partners through the Thematic Groups where there are gaps in the existing evidence base. The research is either carried out by the Cymru Wledig LPIP Rural Wales team of academics and researchers or contracted to an external researcher through a competitive process. The studies might include new data collection (for example through interviews, surveys or focus groups), or analysis of existing data. Each study produces a Final Report and a Policy Brief, with recommendations based on the research findings.
